Rekey or replace? Here's the difference

You don't always need brand-new locks. Rekeying changes the internal pins inside your existing lock so any old keys stop working and you get a fresh set — it's quicker and cheaper than full replacement, and ideal when the hardware itself is still in good nick. If a lock is worn out, damaged or you want to upgrade the security, replacement is the better call. We'll tell you straight which one you actually need.
